Friends Meeting House

The Friends' Meeting House

Cardiff Unitarians/Undodiaid Caerdydd worship at the Friends Meeting House, Charles Street, Cardiff.

Unitarianism has its roots in Christianity with the view that there is a divine unity or oneness. This concept has been broadened by a spectrum of belief in Unitarianism encompassing humanist, liberal Christian, pagan and eastern perspectives.

Rather than embracing a fixed creed in the church individuals are encouraged to seek and to hold their own beliefs in the context of a community with shared values such as:

· The nurture of life’s spiritual dimension

· The use of reason in the search for truth

· Mutual respect and goodwill in personal relations

· Constructive tolerance and openness towards the beliefs of others

· Peace, compassion, justice and democracy in human affairs

· Reverence for the earth and the whole natural system of which we are a part

Services in English are held at 6pm on Sundays except for the second Sunday of the month when there is a service through the medium of Welsh at 3.15 pm.

Please see the calendar for current services and events or contact the Church Secretary for further information. (The calendar opens a new window)
